What to expect

While on our two-hour guided journey through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands, we have the chance to spot manatee, dolphin, and many other creatures of the Indian river lagoon system. This area being the most biodiverse estuary in the continental United States, there is plenty to spot! Along the way we will explore deep inside the tunnels of the Florida Mangrove trees. Where we can get an up close and personal look at the intricate root system, that is so important to Florida’s coast. While pulling our way through branch by branch, check out all the baby fish using them as their nursery! If you’re ready for an exciting yet relaxing escape this is the tour for you!

What to bring

Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, waters, and clothes that protect from the sun.

Enjoy an outside of this world experience while paddling the bioluminescent waters of the Indian river lagoon system. During the warmest months of the summer (June-October) any movement through our lagoon creates a bright blue-green glow. There’s no better way to truly get immersed into an Avatar like world, than taking a 1.5-hour paddle around Kiwanis island. Along the way there is chance to see manatee and dolphin, as well as scooping up bioluminescent comb jellies with the nets provided.
